The Texas Optometric Association (TOA) organizes frequent continuing education events for optometrists to attend to maintain knowledgeable on new medical findings, technology, and practicing techniques. I was invited to attend by Dr. Peter Cass: former president of the TOA, guest speaker, and local optometrist. The lectures focused on how to improve an optometry practice to ensure that patients get quality healthcare while the doctors maximize profits.
